清淨光明者也。It continuously promotes the birth, growth, getting sick and getting old of all things and humanbeings. 持續帶來生物和人的生老病死。藏德不止，故不下也。the vitality of its clearness and brightness will never cease, therefore, it will not decline either.天蒙則日月不明，邪害空竅。If the sky is not bright, the sun, moon and the whole earth must be dark and the functional activities of vital energy will be obstructed like the hollow orifices(空竅) of human body being obstructed when being encroached by the evil factors（邪氣）。氣的基本功能性活動被阻隔，就像身體的空竅被邪氣侵襲。陽氣者閉塞，地氣者冒明。The intercrossing between the energies of heaven and earth depends on the motions and illuminations of the sun and moon, if the sun and moon cease to illuminate, the heaven energy will be obstructed and fails to descend. 天地間能量的交互依賴於日月運行與光照，如果停止照明，天上的能量就被阻隔，不能降下來。雲霧不精，As a result, the sky will be overcast with clouds and mists,則上應白（甘）露不下。 the energy of earth will fail to ascend to respond the energy of heaven and the due(懷疑是dew這個詞，露水的意思) will not be able to fall. 地氣不能上應天氣，則露水下不來。The growth and development of all things on earth depend on the intercrossing of the energies of Yin and Yang. 地球上所有東西的生長都依賴於陰和陽的能量交互。交通不表，萬物命故不施，If the two energies fail to communicate, all things on earth will lose their source of nourishment. 不施則名木多死。Under such circumstance, most of the big trees will die.惡氣不發，風雨不節，白露不下，則苑藁不榮。Some abnormal change will happen in the world and the weather sequence of the four seasons will be confusing: the weather will not be severe in autumn and not be bitterly cold in winter, the wind and rain won't be regular in spring , and no dew will accur in summer.天地四時不相保，與道相失，則未央絕滅。Since the Yin and Yang energies being maladjusted, the four seasons will lose their regular patterns, they can no more help the birth and growing of all things, and all things on earth will die young. 很小的時候就會夭折（未央絕滅）。唯聖人從之，故身無奇病。 The sages know the hows and whys of the viarition of Yin and Yang, so they can aviod queer diseases even under the condition of sudden change of the environment.萬物不失，生氣不竭。As they can adapt to the mechanism of existence like other things on earth, so their vital energy will never be exhausted.
