口语中可省略定语从句后的主句部分，完整句需补充谓语。
◦ 口语：The lady who is standing behind the counter.

4、定语从句核心总结（重点）
1）. 定义：用来修饰前面的名词（这个名词叫先行词），跟在先行词后，起限定、说明作用。
2). 引导词用法
◦ 先行词是人：

✅ 作宾语：用 whom / who / that（可省略）

一、核心知识点——定语从句
关系代词：which、that、who、whom、whose，在从句中可充当主语、宾语、定语。
1. 关系代词作主语
先行词是人 → who / that
例句：They are the children who live next door.
先行词是物 → which / that
例句：That's the car which/that stopped here.
2. 关系代词作宾语（可省略）
先行词是人 → whom / that / who（可省略）
例句：They are the people whom/that I invited to my party.
先行词是物 → which / that（可省略）
例句：That's the coin which/that I found in the garden.
3. 关系代词 whose（表所属关系）
可指人，也可指物，意为“……的”。
指人：The boy whose hair is brown is from England.
指物：The book whose cover is black and red is mine.
只能用 that 的四种情况（重点）
1. 先行词是不定代词
（anything、everything、nothing、all、everyone 等）
This is all that I can do for you.
Everyone that goes to the amusement park looks very happy.
2. 先行词被序数词或最高级修饰
Mary is the tallest girl that I have seen.
He is the first boy that came to the classroom.
3. 先行词被 the very、the only、the same 修饰

4. 先行词既有人又有物
