英语学习笔记打卡第二天“在合同里”

“合同里” 应该用in the contract 还是 on the contract？
最近我们公司进口一批法国红酒。上个周跟进到付款这一步，我跟卖方说，你得在合同上签字盖章，我才能拿着签字盖章后的合同去我们的开户银行申请欧元支付；
我当时对于在“合同上”，有一点疑惑。到底是该用“on the contract” 还是“in
the contract”呢？因此就去查了一番，最后结论如下：

In the contract
含义：（合同）内容里，条款中
使用场景：最常用！指合同正文规定的权利、义务、条款等。

On the contract
含义：（合同文件）表面上
使用场景：指签名、盖章、污渍、手写日期等物理标记。

Under the contract
含义：根据合同（规定）
使用场景：指依据合同的条款所产生的权利或义务。

重要对比与易错点
条款 vs. 签名：
✅ Your signature should be on the contract. (你的签名应签在合同上。)
✅ Your obligations are in the contract. (你的义务在合同条款里。)

“根据合同”怎么说？
当表达“根据合同规定”时，通常用 under the contract 或 pursuant to the
contract (更正式)，而不是 according to the contract。
✅ You are obligated to pay under the contract. (根据合同，你有付款义务。)
✅ Pursuant to Clause 5.2, either party may terminate. (根据第5.2条，任何一方均可终止。)

黄金法则：
当不确定时，用 “in the contract” 几乎总是安全的，因为讨论合同的核心永远是它的内容条款。只有在明确指文件物理表面（特别是签名）时，才用 “on the contract”。
