The price of eggs in the United States is shocking, to say the least. In some states, 18 eggs currently cost as much as $12, whereas the highest price we've typically seen in the past was around $5. As a result, some of us, like myself, are turning to the barter system to obtain eggs at a reasonable or affordable cost. These colorful beauties were traded for homemade soup. I'm planning to invest in the tools needed to start making homemade bread, hoping to trade for more items.
